WFA's Global Sourcing Board

In 2019, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍøestablished its Global Sourcing Board, a group of passionate professionals committed to growing the profile of marketing procurement within both the marketing and procurement communities. These individuals, who have years of hands-on experience in marketing procurement, are not consultants, but practitioners dedicated to advancing the field.

WFA's Global Sourcing Board

In 2019, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍøestablished its Global Sourcing Board, a group of passionate professionals committed to growing the profile of marketing procurement within both the marketing and procurement communities. These individuals, who have years of hands-on experience in marketing procurement, are not consultants, but practitioners dedicated to advancing the field.

Today, under the leadership of Jennifer McLachlan, Vice-President Brand Building Purchases at P&G, and Christopher Kredo, Senior Vice-President Global Procurement A&M at PepsiCo – co-chairs of the Board – the group brings a combined total of around 175 years of marketing procurement experience.

Relevant Sourcing Board reports

It all began with Project Spring, which captured the movement of marketing procurement’s evolution. The report laid the foundations of what constitutes great marketing procurement. Since its publication, Project Spring has stood as the backbone of the Board’s ambitions.

Building on this, the Board has taken a more rigorous approach to exploring the 'how': how marketing procurement evolves, how it matures, and, most importantly, how leaders might equip their teams to be future-ready and act as engines of growth. This led to the development of a voluntary maturity framework and the creation of opportunities for ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍømembers to discuss and operationalise it.

Mission & vision

The Board’s vision is to “be the trusted partner of global brand investment strategies, from sourcing to resourcing marketing and drive the business forward”.

The Board's mission is “to define world-class marketing procurement and set the recommended standards that members of our community should uphold”.
